Take a class, learn something new! My classes include all supplies so you can test out a new technique or material and not break the bank.

POLYMER TASSEL EARRINGS (ages 14+)

Wednesday, April 24, 6-8 pm, Kenosha Public Museum, Kenosha, WI

Start to discover the joy of working with polymer clay while creating a fun piece of wearable art. Students will learn how to prepare, use, and bake polymer clay pieces, make tassels from scratch, and use jewelry findings to connect those pieces together. Students will make at least one pair of earrings with the opportunity to create more if time permits. All supplies are included, no experience necessary.

HERB PRINTED TEA TOWELS (ages 14+)

Saturday, April 27, 1-3pm, Bella Botanica, Springfield, WI

Make your mark on some tea towels with this creative printing process. Learn some tips and tricks for printing herbs on paper and on two tea dyed tea towels. These towels make great hostess gifts or lovely gifts for yourself. All supplies are included, no experience needed.

TINY WEAVINGS (ages 14+)

Wednesday, April 3, 6-8 pm, Kenosha Public Museum, Kenosha, WI

Learn the basics of weaving while making the most adorable tiny wall hanging. Each participant will get to take home their tiny loom (included in cost of class) to create more tiny weavings at home! All supplies are included, no experience necessary.

MOTHER'S DAY ALLIUM POM POM POT (caregiver and child)

Saturday, May 11, 10:30 am - noon, Kenosha Public Museum, Kenosha, WI

Create this fabulous floral arrangement with your kiddo for a special mom or grandma in your family. This project will focus on how to make different size pom poms to create the blossoms of the allium plant. With a few other additions to your plant, you can make a faux flower that a mom or grandma would love as a gift! All supplies are included, no experience necessary.

FELT FLOWER WREATH (ages 14+)

Saturday, May 18, 10-11:30 am, Bella Botanica, Springfield, WI

With a few techniques and tips, instructor Tiffany Knopow, will help your craft a beautiful array of felt flowers. Participants will leave with a finished 8 inch wreath ready for your spring décor. All supplies are included, no experience necessary.

FLOWER POUNDING (HAPAZOMES) (ages 14+)

Saturday, July 13, 2:30-4:30pm, Kenosha Public Museum, Kenosha, WI

Use the beauty of nature to make these special prints. Hapazomes are prints made directly from the natural pigments in the flowers and leaves. Students will create at least 2 prints that will be ready to frame using this fun technique.

CYANOTYPES (ages 14+)

Saturday, August 17, 10am- 12pm, Kenosha Public Museum, Kenosha, WI

Use the sun to make beautiful cyanotypes and photograms (sun prints) of three-dimensional objects on paper. The result is a beautiful silhouette of the object placed on the photosensitive paper. We will start off using nature as our inspiration (leaves, twigs, flowers) but you are welcome to bring items to experiment with.

MINI WET FELTED PUMPKINS (ages 14+)

Saturday, October 12, 10am- 12pm, Kenosha Public Museum, Kenosha, WI

Learn the basics of wet felting wool fibers in this fun and easy class! Each participant will get to make at least 3 small pumpkins. No experience is needed. All materials are provided.

Classes start with the basic skills for beginners and move to more advanced knowledge as the class moves along. Every class includes all the supplies necessary to create the project.
